GE Vernova is looking for a motivated Power System Intern to join its Digital Grid team in Hyderabad. This hands-on internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects across power generation, transmission, energy market applications, and wide-area monitoring. As an intern, you'll gain practical experience aiding in development of power system models for various utility and industrial customers.

Main Projects and Domains:

• Generation applications: Economic Dispatch, Automatic Generation Control
• Transmission applications: Load Flows, State Estimation, Contingency Analysis
• Energy market applications: Unit Commitment
• Wide Area Monitoring: Oscillation source detection, Inertial response

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in developing and enhancing power system models for customers
• Using C++ to understand existing code and provide enhancements or algorithm improvements
• Implementing and testing advanced algorithms in the product stack
• Supporting renewable energy integration and grid interconnection studies
• Automating analytical workflows for power system analytics projects

Requirements:
